Hello darkness my old friend

This will be quick: previous version deleted accidentally.

Saturday morning started at 03:30 in Cambria. It was a day for a double up so we could get one day ahead.

The first 40km felt like climbing into the stars. Slowly heading up the Baviaanskloof. Sunrise was awe-inspiring.

Lunch was a brief stop at Damsedrift for food and resupply before hitting the road and waiting for darkness t fall. We knew that there was 3 hours cycling after sunset.

Completed the double up at Willowmore 20:05. Legs finished. Knees aching from all the hills.

Next stop Prince Albert, another long day.

  1. Hey Stranger

Been about 163 years since we last spoke. I see you’re still cycling, climbing, jumping, diving around the universe. Drop me a line if you ever come up for air.

    Cheers, Sandy
